... Typical Non-Thorough Reporting from My Favorite News Source. ...

This article is ridiculous. Do they think this isn't happening elsewhere in Virginia? I attend a university that also happens to be in the commonwealth of Virginia and, oh, it's about 3x bigger. They are also really driving at registering every single person on my campus.
It's kind of ridiculous, actually. The number of times I've had someone approach me to register to vote in the past month.... And I'm sure I've gotten off easy compared to other people, seeing as I go out of my way to not talk to the people that hover in inconvenient spots around campus.
So basically I reeeally don't see this "Liberty University" (which I'd never heard of before, by the way) making that much of a difference in the election. They have about 11,000 students, yes? I assume mostly conservative. Well, here we have about 30,000 and, while I clearly don't speak for everyone, I'm fairly confident that Obama supporters are finding that there are more liberal types to register than there are conservative types.

Well, moral of the story. This wasn't really a newsworthy item unless they understand that Liberty University is not alone in this drive. I'm also pretty sure that Virginia Tech isn't the only other university doing this.
And why didn't they have a comments section for this article??
